Ruby is in shock: she has been suspended from Maxton Hall College because she is said to be having an affair with her history teacher. From one second to the next, her dream of studying at Oxford vanished into thin air. But that’s not all: James, of all people, seems to be responsible for the photos circulating of her and Mr. Sutton. Ruby can’t believe it. She and James have been through so much together, overcome so many obstacles together—would he really do that to her? However, it quickly turns out that there is more to it than meets the eye.
