The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare is an exciting young adult fantasy collection filled with supernatural mysteries, forbidden love, dangerous secrets, and epic battles between good and evil. Set in a hidden world where demons, Shadowhunters, vampires, werewolves, and warlocks exist alongside ordinary humans, this six-book series takes readers on an unforgettable adventure.
The story begins with City of Bones, where Clary Fray discovers that her seemingly ordinary life hides a mysterious supernatural reality. After witnessing events she cannot explain, Clary encounters the Shadowhunters, a secretive group of warriors dedicated to protecting humanity from demons. As she uncovers secrets about her family and her own identity, she becomes involved in a conflict that threatens the entire Shadowhunter world.
The journey continues through City of Ashes and City of Glass, where dangerous revelations, complicated relationships, and powerful enemies test the characters’ courage and loyalty. The later books—City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, and City of Heavenly Fire—raise the stakes with darker threats, emotional sacrifices, and battles that determine the future of the Shadowhunters.
Combining magic, romance, friendship, betrayal, and supernatural adventure, this collection is perfect for readers who love immersive fantasy worlds and unforgettable characters.
